New Expansion: AZTEC Civilization

Uncharted Waters Online will be releasing an update which they called Aztec update on January 11, 2011. It contains new maps, features and system to satisfy players in playing the game. To give you some idea about the update.

Prologue -- August 3, 1492 A.D. ---- Admiral Christopher Columbus set sail from Palos de la Frontera, dreaming of a mysterious land beyond the horizon where the city of gold, El Dorado, lay. Between the Emerald Ocean and the deep-blue sky he spread his main sail like a great white canvas, a great white sheet on which he would paint his destiny.When the sails filled up with wind his chest heaved with excitement. Finally, he sighted the land, a true La Frontera right in his eyes.After Columbus discovered a mysterious continent where strange indigenous peoples lived, the great powers of Europe fought among themselves to send out expeditions to find hitherto unknown civilizations and great wealth. Wild rumors and imaginary places turned out to be true as one by one the reports came rolling in.

"A new foothold for a brand new adventure into the unknown!"

In La Fronter voyagers can team up and build a city on a deserted island or on empty plains. The unknown world can turn into an educational capital, military capital, or academic capital according to the preferences of the adventurers.

To develop the New World, people must come together under their national flag.
The new continent discovered by each country will be evaluated according to the following categories: culture level, commerce level, armament level. The village's trend will be determined by three levels.

The three levels will be influenced by the kind of items handed to the shopkeeper and city officials. Remember that donations can be made only in the New World of your country.

Cities of the New World -- The mysteriously veiled New World across the vast Atlantic Ocean is already accessible from a few cities on the shore that are open to Western traders as well as to the Aztecs. Players can begin their journey from one of the cities off shore and make their way into the unknown.

Cities under Construction -- Excavation teams sent out by European countries have already started building new cities. But they cannot proceed with the construction without help from each of the voyagers. Depending on the culture level, commerce level and armament level, the city can become an academic capital, commerce capital, or military captial. The New World changes every week depending on the past sevcn day's developments. The development level increases depending on the voyager's contribution. The more active the members, the faster the city will grow. A well-developed city will come with an item shop appropriate to the level of development.

Metropolitan City --The city will serve as a center of academia, military activity, and trade and will have rare items available at stores. It can be a good idea to set a target beneficial to your profession to improve the required category. A nation can also concentrate its forces in a certain area to develop a city in that category.The city's future is in the hands of the voyagers.

"Steer towards new lands in the name of the monarch"

In order to find new lands adventurers must accept an Imperial Quest from each nation's monarch or doge. The discovery of new lands  holds great interest for the nation and could influence its status. Candidates must have an entry permit for all waters discovered by the West European countries.

- The Imperial Quest consists of various missions of varying difficulty, such as defeating pirates. Choose a quest that fits your capability.


- Players can see the discovery project's progress in the Imperial Quest window of their nation. This status bar increases whenever an adventurer of the same nationality is successful in fulfillinf the mission. So, it can be that said the numbers rise with teamwork. The nation must join forces and complete the quests to increase the gage little by little. Venturing into unknown waters is the best way to open new routes to new destination, a source of great wealth and power to a nation.

- Players can acquire an entry permit to the New World by reporting for the Imperial Quest after reaching a certain attainment level. The level will be determined by the nation's status. The weaker the country the lower the level required. As a result, all nations are given equal opportunities to venture out into the world. The nation must unite and come together as a team in order to obtain the entry permit quicker. This will help individuals as well as the  nation.

"Create  your own unique recipes"

In order to ease the trouble carrying multiply recipes, new update offers players to make their own recipes. With the completion of Imperial Quest or delivering supplies to the developing cities, players can earn some special permission to produce a new recipe. Players can pick one skill in each recipe to create "my recipe" and your previously own recipe will be deleted from the inventory skills.

My Recipe can be used by clicking the "My Recipe" icon on the top right corner.
It will bring a great benefit if you keep your favorite recipe skills in there.

"Now, you can own more ships!"

Dock system will only be activated when thier city is developed into Metropolitan City. Some Ducat and the Charter of National Contribution will be needed to get the dock system run, and once the dock is established, a player can dock and undock the ship at any nations.

With this system, players can own a total of one extra ship, so they can store one of their ship on the docl, and carrying four. Also, while the ship is stored in the dock, its Durability level is recovered.
